Online Marketing Issues For 2010

Dont have any, well think again. 2010 is going to a very interesting year for online marketing issues. Here are my predictions – I encourage you to bookmark & re-visit at a latter stage.

1/ Internet marketers with further push the concept of the “free line” … if they are not careful the market will educate “customers” into

a/ consuming only the “free samples”
b/ struggle to add value because its hard to get better value than “free”
c/ the sheer volume of “free” content will confuse the consumer
d/ the ever increasing numbers of self-appointed gurus will consume the goose

2/ The “truth” will get harder and harder to find in 2010.

Just because a human being is articulate does not guarantee they are correct! In 2009 I’ve observed in many niches where a “general consensus theory” is formulated and then is perpetuated by a “follow the leader mentality”.

Many have stopped thinking for themselves. So maybe the world is flat after all!!!

3/ In 2010 the “rich” will get richer the poor will get poorer.

Size may well be important after all. Many will try to manipulate the situation for self-interest & power. However, the keyword is “power”.
